Organic Peaches and Plums

For those who are from Colorado, Palisade peaches are a known part of any summer. Palisade is famous for its peaches as a result of the unique climate in the Grand Valley. The diurnal shift of long sunny days and cool summer nights enable strong fruity sugar development. Additionally, the Book Cliffs reflect sunlight on the valley below and store radiant energy in the rock banks. The mountain pass created by I-70 provides us with a constant breeze as the valley air warms and cools. This unique microclimate makes our peaches and plums extra juicy and sweet.

Harding Homegrown offers eight varieties of peaches including Red Haven, Red Globe, Contender, Crest Haven, Bounty, Resilience, O’ Henry and Messina. We also have have five varieties of plums including Methley, Au Rosa, Ozark, Santa Rosa, and Stanley. The wide variety and difference in ripening time provides our farm with fresh stone fruit throughout the entire season.
